The Philippines is a popular destination unchanged in Southeast Asia,
mainly from Asian and American, but is also frequented by European
tourists.
Destinations with developed tourist infrastructure found in particular
on various islands of the Visayas island group (such as Cebu, Boracay).
By the use of public transport is easier because of the technical condition of vehicles recommended. Even driving at night should be avoided for safety reasons.
Money, credit cards, checks
Traveler's checks (travelers checks) must be redeemed only with difficulty. It must be submitted in any case, the purchase receipt. ATMs are not available everywhere. Use your credit card only in reputable shops and hotels, and watching the accounting process personally.
Mobile phones
The reception for mobile phones on some islands is partially restricted or not available.
Airport Fee
Please note that the airport charges at the international airports of
Manila, Cebu City and Davao City in the amount of time for 750, - levied
on departure is PHP, the airport tax to be paid cash in U.S. dollars or
PHP. Even on domestic flights airport tax is payable.
